About the building

Staying at Nest Flats Paseo de los Tristes immerses you in the most authentic side of Granada. The building is at Calle Horno del Oro, 13, one of the most emblematic streets in the UNESCO World Heritage neighbourhood of Albaicín, just metres from Paseo del Padre Manjón and with the Alhambra as a permanent backdrop.

At number 14 on the same street stands the Casa Morisca Horno del Oro, one of the district’s most important Nasrid monuments and part of the Andalusian Monuments route. Here, tourism and everyday life exist side by side.

The building has 7 apartments across three floors, centred around a welcoming inner courtyard. From the ground-floor apartments to the penthouse with a terrace and direct views of the Alhambra, every unit has its own character in an incomparable setting.

Albaicín

Albaicín is the best-preserved medieval Arab quarter in Western Europe and one of only two neighbourhoods in Spain designated as UNESCO World Heritage Sites (together with the Alhambra and Generalife, listed in 1984 and extended in 1994).

Metro: Railway Station, a 15–18-minute walk away. For the historic centre, the bus and walking are the most practical options.

  • Parking San Agustín — Below the Central Market. Approx. 12–15 minutes on foot.

Tip: Leave your car parked throughout your stay and get around on foot or by bus. Central Granada is made for walking.

Albaicín offers one of the highest concentrations of authentic experiences anywhere in Spain. Almost everything is within walking distance of the building.

  • Andalusian Monuments Route — Dobla de OroThe most comprehensive combined ticket. It includes El Bañuelo, Casa Morisca Horno del Oro, Palacio de Dar al-Horra, Casa del Chapiz, Corral del Carbón and Cuarto Real de Santo Domingo. Most are less than a 10-minute walk away.
  • The Alhambra and Generalife — 15 minSpain’s most visited monument. From Paseo de los Tristes, walk up Cuesta del Rey Chico (860 m). The route on foot is spectacular. Advance booking is essential for the Nasrid Palaces.

Access is self-service (self check-in). You will receive instructions by email 24 hours before arrival, including the building access code, apartment number and key-box code. If you do not receive them, please contact us in advance.
Check-in is from 3:00 pm and check-out is before 11:00 am. If you need to arrive earlier or leave later, please ask us in advance. Free luggage storage is available at a nearby city-centre establishment (not in the apartment building itself).
The conditions depend on the rate booked. Flexible rates allow free cancellation up to 24–48 hours before arrival. Non-refundable or promotional rates cannot be cancelled. Check the conditions when booking.
Yes. Access is self-service and you can arrive at any time. If you expect to arrive very late, please let us know so we can make sure everything is ready.
Yes. The penthouse has a 15 m² private terrace with direct views of the Alhambra and Albaicín by day and night. It is the most popular apartment in the building. It sleeps up to 7 guests and has 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms.
The UNESCO-listed Albaicín has restricted vehicle access. The most convenient options are Trex car park (Plaza de los Campos, about 20 minutes on foot or 10 minutes by taxi) and Ave María car park (C/ Molinos, about 15 minutes away). We recommend leaving your car parked throughout your stay and getting around on foot.
Yes. For groups of 8 or more guests, email us at hola@nestflatscentro.com with the number of guests, dates and requirements. We can arrange several apartments at the same time.
We accept credit and debit cards (Visa and Mastercard) and online payments through the booking engine. Depending on the selected rate, payment can be made when booking or on arrival.
The Albaicín is a restricted-access area monitored by number-plate cameras, but you are treated as a resident during your stay. We register your vehicle number plate free of charge with Granada City Council’s Mobility Department so you can drive in to drop off your luggage without being fined. Just send us your number plate when you arrive.
